For at least the second time of the 2023-24 college basketball season, the Iowa Hawkeyes saw a massive fan in attendance at one of their games: “Ted Lasso” actor Jason Sudeikis.
The famed actor was in attendance at the team’s Elite Eight game vs. LSU, a rematch of last year’s national title game. Sudeikis was clearly in support of 1 seed Iowa, which avenged last year’s title-game loss to Angel Reese and Co. with a 94-87 victory to advance to the Final Four.

If there was any doubt of that, you need only look at Sudeikis performing the “You can’t see me” gesture, which Clark made famous last season as a celebration last year — and which Reese mimicked at her as LSU won the 2023 national championship game:
This isn’t the first time Sudeikis has attended an Iowa game, either. He also watched Clark and Co. in early December, as the Hawkeyes dismantled Bowling Green 99-65.

Sudeikis appears to be a fan of Iowa, not only watching at least two games in person, but also showing obvious support for the Hawkeyes amid their run to the Final Four. Sudeikis attended Fort Scott Community College in Kansas, which is about a six-hour drive southwest of the University of Iowa in Iowa City.
Where is Jason Sudeikis from?
Sudeikis, despite being born in Fairfax Virginia, considers Johnson County, Kansas his hometown. He graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School in Overland Park, Kansas.
