And the Catalan newspaper “Sport” stated that Xavi decided to summon Al-Zalzouli, whose loan period to Osasuna had expired, to participate in the preparation period for the next season 2023-2024, which begins on July 10.

She explained that Xavi’s decision came after consulting with his assistants, and after evaluating Al-Zalzouli’s performance last season with Osasuna, as he played 34 matches with the team, scoring 6 goals and providing two assists.
Xavi intends to rely on Al-Zalzouli – if he is kept – in the position of the left wing, which is preferred by the Moroccan player, as he believes that he is able to contribute, shine, and provide a qualitative addition to the team.
She added that one of the factors that may be in the interest of Al-Zalzouli and guarantee him the defense of Barcelona’s colors in the next season is his ability to play in more than one position. In addition to his position as a left wing, the young Moroccan can play in the center of the right wing and midfield.
And “Sport” confirmed that Al-Zalzouli benefited from his loan period to Osasuna, and his level developed clearly. Which put him under the microscope of many European clubs.

Leverkusen is considering signing Zalzouli in order to compensate for the possible departure of one of his attackers. They are Moussa Diaby or Amine Adly.
And German club officials believe that Al-Zalzouli has the capabilities necessary to achieve success in the “Bundesliga”.
