Wataru Endo expressed his excitement when he made his Liverpool debut.
The former VfB Stuttgart midfielder joined the Reds last week, coming on as a substitute in the second half, as they secured victory over Bournemouth.
“I only found out three or four days ago that there was an opportunity to join Liverpool,” Endo told Liverpool’s official website.
“It was very fast, at the beginning of the week I was preparing to play in the Bundesliga, and at the end of the week I was playing here at Anfield in front of all these fans – it’s crazy!”
Endo concluded: “I am an experienced player, so I need to accept even this situation and deal with it. It was difficult, but it was special for me.”
