Volleyball Hosts Spring Tournament – Iowa State University Athletics

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State volleyball returns to Hilton Coliseum for the Iowa State Spring Tournament this Saturday, March 30 to begin the spring slate. The Cyclones will match up against in-state rivals Drake, UNI and Iowa.

Iowa State will play Drake at 10 a.m., UNI at 11:15 a.m. and close the tournament against Iowa beginning at 1:30 p.m. Two courts will be used (East and West) for the matches and the schedule is as follows:

10 a.m.: ISU vs. Drake (East); UNI vs. Iowa (West)

11:15 a.m.: ISU vs. UNI (East); Iowa vs. Drake (West)

1:30 p.m.: ISU vs. Iowa (East); UNI vs. Drake (West)

Admission is free and doors will open at 9:30 a.m. Fans can enter through the South upper and lower doors.

There will be no live stats or video on Saturday. Matches will consist of three sets with the first two sets to 25 points and the third set to 15 points.

Next up on the spring schedule, ISU travels to Faribault, Minn. Friday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m. for a match vs. Minnesota at the Faribault High School. The Cyclones will then play Creighton in Ames April 13, however the match is not open to the public. For the full spring schedule, click here.
