The term of assignment of “Rami El Dokani” as Acting Chairman of the Egyptian Stock Exchange has ended

The term of appointing the head of the Egyptian Stock Exchange, Rami El-Dukkany, as Chargé d’Affaires for a year, has officially ended, according to the decision issued by the Prime Minister on August 25 of last year.

Sources close to the head of the Egyptian Stock Exchange told Al-Arabiya.net that he bid farewell to the stock exchange’s employees today, Thursday, after his renewal letter for a second term was delayed.

On August 7, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi issued a decision to renew Mohamed Farid as acting head of the Financial Supervisory Authority. He also issued a decision last week to re-appoint Hassan Abdullah as acting governor of the Central Bank of Egypt for a year.
