The term of appointing the head of the Egyptian Stock Exchange, Rami El-Dukkany, as Chargé d’Affaires for a year, has officially ended, according to the decision issued by the Prime Minister on August 25 of last year.
Sources close to the head of the Egyptian Stock Exchange told Al-Arabiya.net that he bid farewell to the stock exchange’s employees today, Thursday, after his renewal letter for a second term was delayed.
On August 7, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi issued a decision to renew Mohamed Farid as acting head of the Financial Supervisory Authority. He also issued a decision last week to re-appoint Hassan Abdullah as acting governor of the Central Bank of Egypt for a year.
