The Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy and the Minister of State for Housing Affairs, Eng. Rashid Al-Enezi and a number of the Corporation’s leaders, inspected the existing housing projects that are being implemented in the city of Jaber Al-Ahmad, including investment opportunities and public services, in addition to reviewing The vertical housing project and the readiness of the apartments that were handed over to the Ministry of Health during the Corona pandemic, in order to hand them over to citizens after carrying out maintenance work.

The Public Authority for Housing Welfare said in a press statement that Minister Al-Otaibi stressed, during his meeting with the leaders of the institution, the project work team and contractors on the sidelines of his tour in the city, the importance of working to accelerate the mechanism for distributing housing plots within the projects that the institution has finished planning and designing, based on directives from the political leadership. And the Council of Ministers, with the aim of providing housing care for applicants and diversifying the options available to citizens. She pointed out that the Minister of Housing talked about the importance of working to put forward more investment projects that achieve profitable and growing returns that contribute to reducing the financial burdens on the institution, create investment and job opportunities for Kuwaiti youth, and attract investments and praiseworthy competition between the banking sector, private companies and real estate developers, praising the efforts currently being made. Among the investment opportunities that are being implemented in Jaber Al-Ahmad City and the actual completion rates on the ground, which will contribute to raising the level and quality of services for the residents of the city and the surrounding areas. And she added: Minister Al-Otaibi instructed to expedite the distribution of 60 ready-made residential apartments in the city within the vertical housing, as it is scheduled to start summoning citizens wishing to allocate today, Wednesday, and hand them over on Wednesday, 31 of this month.

And she revealed that the Minister of Housing directed the Director General of the Corporation to assign M. Rashid Al-Enezi to form a committee to develop residential buildings and provide integrated services and work to avoid all previous observations, develop the owners’ union and take advantage of the close and wide spaces in front and side of the vertical housing to provide more services to citizens and provide all the needs of the Kuwaiti family And complete privacy for them, and work to provide more services that increase the demand for this type of project.

She pointed out that the Foundation’s delegation was briefed on the J3 and J2 investment opportunities site located in the city, which is witnessing progress in the implementation of actual works, indicating that the J3 project includes a commercial complex on a land area of ​​​​approximately 100 thousand square meters, in addition to 21 residential buildings containing 204 apartments of different sizes. With the leasing system through the project investor, in addition to the attached villas project, the garden, public parking and other components thereof.

And she added: The delegation was also briefed on the latest developments in the J2 investment opportunity project, which is being implemented without any financial burdens on the institution, and contains a commercial center consisting of office spaces, exhibitions, and a multi-purpose hall, in addition to cafes.
