The Egyptian artistic gymnastics team will participate in the Romania International Championship, which will be held in the Romanian capital, Bucharest, from September 1 to September 3, in preparation for the world championship.
The delegation of the Pharaohs arrived in Romania a short while ago, in preparation for the international tournament, in which many distinguished players from around the world will participate.
The sons of the Nile are represented in this championship by: “Ali Zahran – Ahmed Al-Maraghi – Omar Al-Arabi – Ahmed Abdel-Rahman – Muhammad Montaser Afifi – Ziad Khater.”
The team is technically led by Jamal Matar, the technical director, Arafat Ahmed, the general coach, and expert Yevgeny Kozin. The mission is headed by Dr. Muhammad Ali, and Sherif Jawdat also participates as an accompanying referee.
For his part, Dr. Ehab Amin, President of the Egyptian and African Gymnastics Federations, confirmed that the Egyptian team is developing rapidly and distinctively during the last period.
Amin added that the men’s artistic gymnastics team is moving steadily to ascend the podiums after the great effort made by the players and the technical staff and providing the necessary support from the Gymnastics Federation to establish internal and external camps at the highest level.
