His Highness Sheikh Hasher Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Media Incorporated, in the presence of Awad Sagheer Al Ketbi, Director General of the Dubai Health Authority, Abdullah Bin Souqat, Executive Director of the Hamdan Award for Medical Sciences, and Jamal Juma, President of the Arab Association for Aesthetic Medicine, inaugurated this morning the activities of the International Conference of the International Federation of Plastic Surgery Societies (ICOPLAST) in Dubai World Trade Center in the presence of 1,600 plastic surgeons from 83 countries

The conference is being held for the first time in Dubai in cooperation with the Arab Society of Plastic Medicine and Surgery (AASMA) and the Emirates Division of Plastic Surgery (EPSS).
The conference is organized and managed by “DXB Live”, and the conference, which lasts for 3 days, has a set of refereed research papers that present the latest research and information on new studies.

Among the main topics that will be discussed at the conference will also be: new surgical trends in facial aesthetics, updates in breast surgery and the latest body contouring techniques, and the latest developments in regenerative surgery and medicine. In addition to these main topics, the latest developments in breast implant pathologies (BII) will be discussed. , innovative non-surgical techniques in facial and body rejuvenation, and other topics.

The conference targets the participation of plastic surgeons in the world, doctors of aesthetic and anti-aging medicine, leaders of the medical sector, hospitals and medical centers specializing in the field of plastic surgery, medical students, nursing teams, and interested residents.

After the opening of the conference, His Highness Sheikh Hasher Al Maktoum inaugurated the accompanying exhibition, in which a number of local and international companies participated.
