On behalf of the Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region, Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Jeddah, Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, yesterday opened the activities of the eleventh professional forum at King Abdulaziz University, in the presence of the university’s acting president, Dr. Hana bint Abdullah Al-Naim, and a number of university leaders, This is at the King Faisal Conference Center at the university.
He toured the Employment and Entrepreneurship Exhibition, which includes more than 40 government and private entities, and learned about the activities and programs that the forum offers, including training courses and development workshops, and the “Graduate Experts” program. It also provides specialized professional consultations in addition to concluding agreements and partnerships.
Prince Saud bin Jalawi stressed the importance of providing career opportunities for the nation’s young men and women and providing them with the necessary skills to keep pace with the labor market.
At the end of the tour, he honored the sponsors and participants in the forum.
For her part, the Acting President of the University expressed her thanks to the Deputy Emir of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region for his sponsorship of the forum, and to the Governor of Jeddah for his attendance and honoring it, stressing that based on the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and the programs that emerged from it; The Human Capacity Development Program comes as one of the most important innovative programs aimed at developing the capabilities of Saudi youth that enable them to participate in economic, social and cultural development, develop future skills, and seize opportunities at the local and global levels through an educational system linked to the needs of the labor market.
The forum, organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Academic Endowment at the University, aims to connect job seekers among university graduates and employers, and to contribute to preparing graduates and students from various scientific specializations at the university and a number of other universities to engage in professional life.
