The first trips of the beneficiaries of the “Makkah Route” initiative started from Morocco, heading to the Kingdom

The first flights of the beneficiaries of the “Makkah Road” initiative departed from the Kingdom of Morocco today, to the Kingdom through the initiative hall at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, heading to Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in the Medina region.

The Makkah Road initiative – which is one of the Ministry of Interior’s initiatives within the program for serving pilgrims, one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 – aims to complete the procedures for pilgrims from their countries, starting with issuing the visa electronically and taking vital characteristics, passing through the completion of passport procedures at the airport of the country of departure after checking the availability of Health requirements.

It also includes coding and sorting the luggage according to the transportation and housing arrangements in the Kingdom. Upon their arrival, they move directly to buses to take them to their residence in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah with designated tracks, while the service agencies deliver their luggage to their homes.
