Mohamed Barakat, a member of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Football Association, commented on the victory of the Egyptian national team over Ethiopia in the final round of the African Cup of Nations qualifiers, praising the level of Mostafa Fathi, as well as Mostafa Mohamed.
The Egyptian national team achieved victory over its Ethiopian counterpart, 1-0, in the confrontation that was held this evening at the Air Defense Stadium, in the final round of qualifiers for the 2024 African Nations Championship in Côte d’Ivoire.
Barakat comments on Egypt’s victory against Ethiopia
Barakat said in his statements on the Remontada program on Al-Mehwar Channel: “Ruy Vitoria led the Egyptian national team to a distinguished appearance in the qualifiers, and achieved what was required of him to the fullest extent.”
He added: “Mustafa Fathi was the star of the first half for the Egyptian national team in today’s match, and Mustafa Mohamed did a good job.”
He continued: “Mustafa Mohamed was the star of the second half in the Egyptian national team’s match against Ethiopia, and Vitoria’s changes were balanced, aiming to preserve the team’s general appearance.”
He concluded: “An important gain for our team, and Vitoria is progressing well in achieving the full mark.”
