With unprecedented spending and record deals, a British website has ranked the best deals struck by English Premier League football clubs during the current summer transfer window.
An analytical study by the financial company “Deloitte” stated that English Premier League clubs spent a record amount of 2.36 billion pounds ($ 2.97 billion) to sign new players during the transfer period that ended on Friday.
The study added that the transfer window, which was open from June 14 to September 1, surpassed last year’s Premier League record of £1.92 billion, with Premier League clubs spending £255 million in the last day alone.
