The artistic gymnastics team flies to South Africa to participate in the African Championship

This evening, Tuesday, the delegation of the Egyptian team for artistic gymnastics for men and women will leave Cairo for South Africa, to participate in the African Championship for artistic gymnastics, during the period from 24 to 28 May.

The Egyptian artistic gymnastics team is represented by men: Omar Mohamed, Ahmed Abdel Rahman, Ziad Khater, Mohamed Afifi, Abdel Rahman Abdel Halim, technical director Gamal Bashir and coach Sherif Jawdat.

While the Egyptian artistic gymnastics team is represented by ladies: Jana Mahmoud, Jana Abdel Salam, Sandra El Sadek, Nady Awad, Nancy Taman, the technical director, Captain Zakaria Ghaleb, and the coaches:

Mahmoud Sayed and Salma Al-Saeed.

For his part, Dr. Ehab Amin, President of the Egyptian and African Federations and a member of the Executive Office of the International Gymnastics Federation, confirmed that the men’s and women’s artistic gymnastics team has players at the highest level who have gained great experience through continental, international and Arab participation.

Amin added that our national team is considered one of the best African teams in recent times, and is a strong candidate for the crowning podiums in the African Artistic Gymnastics Championship organized by South Africa.
