Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola has changed his way of playing this season.
And Guardiola is counting on a pivotal duo in the middle of the field, including John Stones.
And Stones discovered himself in this position again and gained the confidence of Guardiola and played wonderfully.
Stones indicated, in statements to the official Manchester City website, that he is trying to implement Guardiola’s instructions as much as possible.
Stones said: “The coach has many good ideas that he tries to communicate to us as players and we try to adapt, whoever plays and plays in whatever role or position the coach wants to do, we try to give it our best.”
