Spain beats Georgia by seven in the Euro 2024 qualifiers

The Spanish national team defeated its Georgian counterpart by seven goals to one, in the confrontation that was held today, Friday, in the fifth round of Group A in the European Nations Cup qualifiers scheduled to be held in Germany next summer.

The Spanish team took the lead in the 22nd minute through Alvaro Morata, before Solomon Kverkevilia, the Georgian team player, scored the second goal for the Spanish team by mistake against his own team in the 27th minute.

In the 38th minute, Dani Olmo scored the third goal for the Spanish team, while Morata returned to add the fourth goal for his team and the second for him in the 40th minute.

In the second half, the Georgia national team succeeded in scoring its only goal through Giorgi Chakvetadze in the 49th minute, before Morata completed his personal hat-trick by scoring the fifth goal for the Spaniards in the 65th minute.

In the 68th minute, Nico Williams scored the sixth goal, while Lamine Yamal concluded the goal festival by scoring the seventh goal in the 74th minute.

The Spanish team raised its score to six points in second place after playing three matches, six points behind the leading Scottish team, which played four matches and will play its host, Cyprus, later today.

On the other hand, the Georgia national team’s balance froze at four points in fourth place (penultimate), after playing four matches.
