Sharjah Executive forms the Organizational Structures Committee

During its meeting, the Council discussed a number of topics on its agenda related to government affairs and ways to develop it in a way that contributes to improving the level of government services that achieve the well-being of citizens and residents on the land of Sharjah.

The Council issued a decision regarding the establishment and formation of the Organizational Structures Committee in the Emirate of Sharjah. According to the decision, a committee called the “Organizational Structures Committee” will be established in the Emirate of Sharjah, affiliated to the Executive Council and working under its supervision.

Goals

The Organizational Structures Committee aims to study the general and detailed organizational structures of government agencies and work on developing and reorganizing them to ensure unification of good performance in all government agencies in the Emirate, taking into account the public interest.

According to the decision, the Organizational Structures Committee is formed under the chairmanship of Eng. Omar Khalfan bin Huraimel Al Shamsi, Head of the Human Resources Department, with the membership of Khalid Jassim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, Waleed Ibrahim Al Sayegh, Director General of the Central Finance Department, and Asmaa Rashid bin Taliah, Secretary General of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah. .

Counselor Issa Saif bin Handal, Director of the Legal Department of the Sharjah Government, and Dr. Amna Salem Hamad Al Suwaidi, Head of the Sessions Affairs Department in the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, as Rapporteur.

The decision also stipulates that the committee shall submit its reports, the results of its work, the difficulties it faces and the solutions it recommends to the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah to take the appropriate decisions in this regard.

The Council reviewed the annual report of the Department of Civil Aviation, which included the various achievements and work of the Department during the year 2022, in accordance with the terms of reference assigned to it and in a way that enhances the position of the Emirate of Sharjah in the air transport market.

The report indicated the increase in new air transport rights represented by destinations, passenger companies and freight companies. It also included passenger traffic statistics compared to the year 2021 AD, as it increased by 51%, air cargo traffic increased by 4%, and aircraft traffic increased by 60% in flights. scheduled, and 7% in private aviation.

The report included the work carried out by the department in terms of partnerships, cooperation agreements and meetings aimed at developing administrative and operational systems, which will reflect on the quality of services and the flow of air traffic.
