Responsible: We have a laboratory to test the quality of the materials used in the manufacture of the Kaaba covering

Sultan Al-Qurashi, Assistant Undersecretary of the General President of the King Abdulaziz Complex, explained the methods for selecting the quality of the materials for making the Kaaba Kiswa.

Al-Qurashi added, during his interview broadcast on Al-Ikhbariya channel, that we have a laboratory dedicated to testing the efficiency and quality of the materials used in the manufacture of the Kaaba Kiswa.

And he continued, that these materials include gold, silver, silk and dyes, as well as the used water that is purified from any impurities, indicating that the stages of manufacturing the Kaaba are undertaken by national competencies.
