Reports: Salah agreed to move to the Saudi Al-Ittihad club

The “BN Sports” network said – today, Thursday – that the Egyptian star, Mohamed Salah, the top scorer for the English club Liverpool, agreed to move to Al-Ittihad Club, the champion of the Saudi Professional Football League.

The network added that resolving the deal depends on the agreement with Liverpool.

And Saudi media indicated that the federation made a huge offer to obtain the services of the 31-year-old leader of Egypt.

The Athletic newspaper reported that the federation had renewed its interest in Salah’s services, but said that the future of the deal had no clear features yet.

Salah joined Liverpool from Rome in 2017, and led the team to win several titles, most notably achieving the English Premier League for the first time in the new era, the European Champions League and the Club World Cup.

Salah scored 187 goals in more than 300 matches with Liverpool in various competitions, and won the Player of the Season award from the Professional Players Association for the 2017-2018 and 2021-2022 seasons.

Salah’s contract with Liverpool extends until 2025, after he extended his contract last summer for more than $400,000 per week, to get the highest salary in the history of the English club.
