According to press reports, the English club Chelsea has reached an agreement with Argentine Mauricio Pochettino to take over as coach of the team.
According to several press reports on Saturday evening, Chelsea reached an agreement to sign Pochettino, the former coach of Tottenham, England, and Paris Saint-Germain, France.
The 51-year-old Argentine coach is expected to take over as interim coach Frank Lampard at the end of the season, according to the British BA Media Agency.
There was no official confirmation from Chelsea, who are looking for a permanent manager after Graham Potter was sacked last month before the end of his five-year contract, in light of poor results.
Lampard previously trained Chelsea between 2019 and 2021, then returned to coach the team temporarily, but the suffering continued under his leadership, as Chelsea currently ranks eleventh in the Premier League ranking table.
