Real Madrid president Florentino Perez criticized today, Tuesday, the racist insults that Brazilian player Vinicius Junior received two days ago in the “Royal” match against Valencia at the Mestalla stadium.
Perez considered that the football refereeing structure should change radically.
The Real Madrid president took advantage of the institutional visit he made to the headquarters of the Madrid region to celebrate the European League title won by the Real Basketball team, to express his opinion on what happened at the Mestalla stadium.
Florentino said: “What happened in fact is very serious, bearing in mind that it is not the first time it has happened. Society does not deserve what is happening, and I want to make it clear that Real Madrid will not tolerate more incidents and racist insults against any of our players.”
He added, “It is necessary to radically change the structure of football refereeing in our country, so that the person who suffers from the crime does not bear responsibility for it as is happening now.”
