Patrick Dempsey was chosen as the sexiest man of 2023 by People magazine

Like every year, the magazine People has chosen the “sexiest man alive.” In 2022, he was the actor Chris Evans the one who took home the coveted recognition, and after several weeks of intrigue, the magazine finally revealed that the Captain America will pass the baton to none other than Patrick Dempseythe actor who achieved worldwide fame thanks to his interpretation of the doctor Dereck Shepherd in the series Grey’s Anatomy for a decade.

People confirmed Dempsey as the sexiest man alive with two covers: the first shows the 57 year old actor staring at the camera with his piercing green eyes in a very serious gesture. In this photo, Patrick is with his arms crossed and wearing a gray t-shirt.

On the following cover, Dempsey sports a broad smile, a blue button-down shirt, and shows off a luxurious watch on his left hand.

As part of the appointment, People conducted an interview with the actor, who was very excited to “finally” be on the list that the famous publication began in 1985.

“I’m glad it’s happening at this time in my life. It’s nice to have the recognition, and certainly my ego takes a little hit, but It gives me the platform to use it for something positive.”.

In any case, many users argue that Dempsey should have been chosen many years ago, when the euphoria for his Dereck Shepherd character was at its peak. Despite this detail, it seems that Dempsey’s fans are very happy with the appointment and consider it something that sooner or later had to happen.
