Paris Saint-Germain strengthens its lead in the French League, and Mbappe scores a goal that has been absent for 20 months


Paris Saint-Germain beat Troyes 3-1 today, Sunday, in the 34th round of the French Football League.

Kylian Mbappe led Paris in the eighth minute with a good follow-up header.

With this goal, Mbappe raised his score to 24 goals, and strengthened his lead in the scorers list.

And a French report by the newspaper “L’Equipe” stated that Mbappe had not scored with his head in the French League since the victory over Reims in August 2021, that is, from about 20 months.

Vitor Ferreira added the second goal for Saint-Germain in the 59th minute.

In the 83rd minute, Xavier Chavalerin scored Troyes’ only goal, before Fabian Ruiz scored the third goal for Saint-Germain in the 86th minute.

Paris Saint-Germain raised its score to 78 points at the top of the standings, 6 points behind Lance, while Troyes’ balance froze at 22 points in 17th (penultimate) place.
