Najran University, represented by the College of Medicine, participated in the Medical Training Forum in South Korea 2023, which was organized by the Saudi Cultural Mission in Seoul during the period from 9/11/15/2023 AD under the patronage of the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of South Korea, Sami Al-Sadhan.
The Dean of the College of Medicine at Najran University, Dr. Muhammad Hanif, explained that the forum aims to enhance joint cooperation in health training between the Ministry of Education, Korean hospitals and universities. In accordance with the standards of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, which seeks quality training and development of health practitioners, and achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in the national transformation of the health sector, stressing that participation represents an ideal opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge with their counterparts in Korean universities, enhance scientific and training cooperation in health specialties, and improve the level of education. Medical and providing distinguished health services between the two countries.
The participating delegation, which includes Saudi doctors on scholarship from the college to study subspecialties at Najran University, visited a number of Korean hospitals, medical centers and universities, and learned about the latest technologies used in the fields of diagnosis and treatment.
