A film about the exploits of the Argentine Soccer Team in the Qatar 2022 World Cup, narrated by Guillermo Francella and based on a story by Hernán Casciari, which focuses on the popular celebration based on home videos made by the fans themselves, will arrive to theaters next December 7.
Is about “Boys, the people’s movie”, directed by Jesús Braceras, responsible for “Monzón” and “Barrabrava”, among other series; produced by Pampa Films and distributed by Star Distribution; which combines official images provided by FIFA and audiovisual material from fans and influencers who witnessed the tournament, as well as citizens who populated the streets throughout Argentina to celebrate each of the victories obtained.
The story is based on the story “Messi’s suitcase”, by Casciarihas the story of Francella, and bears the production seal of the brothers Pol and Agustín Bossi, and their father Pablo.

The announcement of this film comes a few days after it was announced that it will also be released that same day. “I choose to believe”the official AFA film about the World Cup, in this case with the story of Ricardo Darín and testimonies from the National Team players.
In “Boys, the people’s film”, the theme revolves around the popular passion that the World Cup aroused, with images that review the fan’s cabals, the experiences in Qatar and the celebrations unleashed not only in the country where the lathe was developed, but also throughout Argentina and in other cities around the world that were also dyed light blue and white.
