His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, President of the United Arab Emirates, welcomed the return of the Emirati astronaut, Sultan Al Neyadi, from his journey into space through the “Crew 6” crew.
And he said in a tweet on the “X” platform: “And I have Sultan Al Neyadi. Praise be to God for your safe return to Earth after the longest Arab mission in space.”
And he continued: “You made with the national work teams a historic Emirati achievement and contributed to the service of science and humanity. With all of you, our ambitions in the field of space are great and continuous. Science is our weapon, and the effort of our children is our asset, and success is from God.”
Today, the “Dragon” vehicle carrying the crew of the “Cro-6” mission, including the Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi, landed on Earth.
After devoting himself to the completion of more than two hundred scientific experiments to study the changes that afflict astronauts in space, Al-Neyadi returns to Earth with important scientific results, and a personal experience that can be a beacon for lovers of storming outer space.
The Crew 6 mission is the first long-term mission of Arab astronauts, and the second Emirati mission to the International Space Station, and was launched by the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center as part of the Emirates Astronaut Program.
