Mohammed bin Khalid Center celebrates Emirati Women’s Day

The Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Cultural Center organized a symposium, sponsored and attended by Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Educational and Cultural Institutions, to celebrate Emirati Women’s Day, under the title “The role of Emirati women leaders in supporting work Al-Madani”, under the slogan “We participate for tomorrow”, with the participation of the Emirates Women Police Association, led by Abu Dhabi Police and the Positivity and Happiness Association.

Sheikha Dr. Shamma opened the symposium with a speech, in which she said, “I am happy to be with you today on the occasion of Emirati Women’s Day 2023, whose position in society has become a living model for the success of societies in creating a feminist culture stemming from their values ​​and their ancient human and cultural heritage, thanks to rational leadership, which saw in women a true partner.” In the responsibility of building society, since the era of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, and under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him.

She said, “Under the patronage and support of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the ‘Mother of the Emirates’, President of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, Emirati women have become able to play their real role in building modern Emirati civilization, and have become a major part in vital sectors.” and state institutions.”

She pointed out that there are many women’s experiences in many countries of the developed world, in which women are still striving to achieve some of what Emirati women have achieved.
