Mayar Sharif bid farewell to the women’s doubles competition at the Roland Garros Tennis Championship, the second Grand Slam tournament, which will be held from May 22 to June 11.
Mayar lost with her Slovenian colleague from the doubles of Hungary and Belgium, Anna Bondar and Great Menin, in two sets to one, and the results of the groups were as follows:
(7-5) / (5-7) / (6-4).

And Mayar lost in the singles competition yesterday, to Anastasia Potapova of Russia, in the second round, with a score of 2/1, as she won the first set with a score of 6/3, before losing in two sets with a score of 6/4 and 6/1.
Mayar was able to win the first round match in the singles competitions, over American Madison Pringle, 2/0, 6/3, 6/1.
Mayar Sherif, 27, advanced to the 43rd place in the international ranking of professional tennis players, for the first time in her career with the white game.

And the star, Mayar Sherif, succeeded in jumping 16 places at once, from 59 to 43 in the world, after her distinguished results in the recent Madrid Masters tournament, and her reaching the quarter-finals for the first time.
Mayar previously reached 44th place in the world in the past year 2022, before she was injured in the Roland Garros Championship and was absent from the stadiums, dropping to the 66th rank at the end of the same year.
