Marriott International announced that it has signed an agreement with Dalands Holding Company, in cooperation with Marjan Company, the master developer of freehold real estate in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, to open the W Marjan Island Hotel.
W Marjan Island, set to open in the first quarter of 2027, is expected to be the first W Hotels property in Ras Al Khaimah, offering bold design, outstanding service and always-on programs.
Al Marjan Island (which is the main island in the Al Marjan Archipelago off the coast of Medina) enjoys a stunning view of the Arabian Peninsula and is surrounded by the mountains of Jens and Jais. The island is a thriving leisure destination that attracts travelers from around the world to experience the luxurious life it enjoys on the waterfront and its white sandy beaches, as well as offering a variety of activities and water sports. Moreover, the island is also distinguished by its proximity to the heritage and cultural attractions and places of adventure in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.

“W Al Marjan Island” is the fourth hotel of the “W Hotels” brand in the UAE, after the “W Palm Hotel – Dubai”, “W Hotel – Mina Seyahi” and “W Abu Dhabi Hotel – Yas Island”.
Al Marjan Island is characterized by white sandy beaches that extend over more than 7.8 km, and a waterfront of 23 km, which makes it possible to provide a variety of activities and water sports, and redefine the concept of luxury life on the waterfront in Ras Al Khaimah.
