Lautaro Martínez’s goal for Inter’s victory in the Champions League

In group D, Inter, with a goal from Lautaro Martínez, beat Salzburg 1-0, as a visitor, and qualified for the round of 16 of the Champions League. The world champion striker scored from a penalty, with 5 minutes remaining. Former Boca midfielder Nicolás Capaldo played as a starter for the Austrian team.

With this result, Inter remained at the top along with Real Sociedad (also classified) who defeated Benfica 3 to 1 in San Sebastián. World champions Ángel Di María and Nicolás Otamendi played as starters on the Portuguese team.
