Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp calmed Trent Alexander-Arnold’s injury concerns in the Reds’ match against Bournemouth.

Klopp replaced Arnold in the 76th minute, limping badly when he went to the bench.

Klopp said in statements published by the English “Liverpool Echo” network: “I hope he is fine. He told me that he received a very painful kick, but it is not a sprain or a fall, it is just a kick.”

“That’s why I decided to change it at the time, but I hope it will be OK,” he added.

The 24-year-old is now part of the Reds’ new leadership group, taking over as vice-captain following the departure of James Milner in June.
