Die Entertainer Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer circulation have hidden a suitcase containing a million euros somewhere in Germany. In their new campaign “Joko & Klaas Live: The Treasure Hunt”, the two distribute the airtime they fought for over several evenings. “Today we will start an action that will change life in Germany forever,” said Klaas Heufer-Umlauf on ProSieben on Wednesday evening.
Joko Winterscheidt added: “We will hide a treasure and each of you has the opportunity to find it.” The two opened a metal suitcase containing bundles of money. Every day at 8:15 p.m. there will be new puzzles and thus clues about the suitcase of money. The broadcast time, which is available to both of them, will be divided up to and including Tuesday (November 14th). ProSieben explained in a message: “Only those who correctly decipher all the puzzles by next Tuesday will receive the geo-coordinates and the numerical code for the suitcase. Whoever gets to the secret location first and can open the treasure chest will receive one million euros.” Winderscheidt and Heufer-Umlauf regularly compete against their employer on the show “Joko and Klaas vs. ProSieben”. If they win the show on Tuesday evening, they can do whatever they want for 15 minutes live on prime time television the day after.
The first short puzzle evening had a good audience rating. Of the total audience, 1.30 million (5.1 percent) sat in front of the television. In the target group of 14 to 49 year olds, who are particularly important for ProSieben because of advertising sales, there was a 13.4 percent market share (750,000 people).
