The Board of Directors of Al-Fayhaa Club has completed the procedures for signing Moroccan international Abdelhamid Sabiri, coming from the ranks of the Italian club Fiorentina, for a period of one season on a loan basis with the preference to purchase the contract.
Al-Fayhaa Club said on its official website that Sabiri passed the medical examinations he underwent in Dubai yesterday, and the contract signing ceremony took place this evening in the Sheikh Othman Al-Rasheed Hall for Lectures and Conferences at the club’s headquarters, in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Tawfiq bin Saleh Al-Mudahim.
Midfielder Sabiri has had many professional experiences, and his most notable stops were with the English clubs Huddersfield Town, German Nuremberg, Italian Ascoli, Italian Sampdoria and Italian club Fiorentina before coming to Al-Fayhaa, in addition to representing his country’s national team, as his most prominent participations were with the Moroccan national team in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and the achievement. Morocco’s historic achievement of finishing fourth in the tournament.
