The Ministry of Health said that walking and taking enough sleep promote brain health.
And Makkah Al-Mukarramah Health Ministry stated (through its Twitter account) that frequent sitting weakens the health of the brain, and that standing and moving for only two minutes every half hour prevents a decrease or increase in the rate of blood flow to the brain.
She added that during sleep, a protein is secreted that helps prevent the accumulation of toxic substances, and thus the risk of brain diseases decreases.
