Many media reports linked several teams with the Moroccan star Soufiane Amrabat, the player of the Italian club Fiorentina, but several days before the closing of the winter transfer market, it was not yet clear the next destination of the Moroccan international.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, who specializes in news of player transfers, says that Amrabat left the “viola” squad because he wanted to leave the team in the summer Mercato.
He added that he had been waiting for Manchester United since last June, but “Maneo” did not make an official offer to the Italian team for the midfielder.
Amrabat’s contract with Viola expires in late June 2024, so the Italian club will not mind his departure if a good offer arrives so that the player does not lose for free in the summer of next year.

In turn, the English “Talk Sport” radio website stated that Liverpool had held talks with Amrabat and his club in order to sign him during the current summer transfer period.
Amrabat drew the attention of many European clubs such as Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester United, as those clubs expressed interest in including him in the “Mercato” last winter after his brilliance with the Moroccan national team in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where the “Atlas Lions” ranked fourth, in An unprecedented historical achievement for Arab and African football.
