Promising economic sectors and activities achieved growth in issuing their commercial records during the second quarter of this year 2023 AD, as the logistics services sector topped the most prominent of these sectors with a growth rate of 83%, according to what was included in the business sector bulletin issued by the Ministry of Commerce.
And the official spokesman for the Ministry of Commerce, Abdul Rahman Al-Hussein, stated that the logistics services sector recorded the issuance of 4,228 commercial records during the second quarter of this year, while the same period last year witnessed the issuance of 2,337 commercial records for the same sector.
He pointed out that the robotics and cybersecurity sectors recorded a growth rate of 52% during the second quarter of 2023 for each sector, and the artificial intelligence technologies sector witnessed a growth rate in the issuance of records by 49%.
The “Commerce” spokesperson attributed this growth to the promising sectors and activities within the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which constitute attractive opportunities for local and foreign investors, and the development it provides for the business sector in the Kingdom and the expansion of partnerships.
He added that the ministry issued 2,344 commercial records for the robot technology sector in the second quarter of this year, while the same period last year witnessed the issuance of 1,537 commercial records, and 2,229 commercial records were issued for the cybersecurity sector in the second quarter of 2023, while the same quarter of the year witnessed Previously, 1462 commercial records were issued.
Regarding the artificial intelligence technologies sector, Bin Al-Hussein recorded growth during the second quarter of this year, as the ministry issued 4,229 commercial registers, while the same period last year recorded the issuance of 2,823 commercial registers.
