Due to the weather forecasts and the different models that confirm intense gusts of Zonda wind and following the recommendations of the Directorate of Civil Defense, the General Directorate of Schools (DGE) informs that tomorrow, Friday, November 17, the suspension of in-person classes, in all shifts in schools of all levels and modalities throughout the provincial territory.

The school activity must be developed virtually through the Escuela Digital Mendoza educational platform, as established by Resolution 2023-25-E-GDEMZA-DGE, in its Annex 1, point 13.

Suspension of face-to-face activities in shelter schools

The General Directorate of Schools informs that this Thursday, November 16, 2023, starting at 1:00 p.m., in-person activities in shelter schools throughout the province were suspended, so that they can proceed with the evacuation due to the Zonda wind forecast expected for on Friday, November 17.

Paid days will also be suspended

Likewise, it has been decided to suspend the holding of paid sessions that were scheduled to take place this Friday the 17th throughout the province of Mendoza.

The Transfer Contest was rescheduled

Meanwhile, the transfer competitions for Oriented Secondary, Technical and Youth and Adult Education levels scheduled for tomorrow, Friday the 17th, were rescheduled for Tuesday, November 21.
