The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, made two phone calls to the head of the Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, and the commander of the Rapid Support Forces, Lieutenant General Muhammad Hamdan Dagalo.
During the two calls, they discussed developments in the brotherly Republic of Sudan, where the Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed the importance of the commitment of all Sudanese parties in order to restore the course of humanitarian work, protect civilians and relief workers, and the safety of humanitarian corridors for the arrival of basic aid, once again calling on the Kingdom to calm down and give priority to the national interest. And stop all forms of military escalation, and resort to a political solution that guarantees the return of security and stability to Sudan and its brotherly people.
