Foreign Minister: The Kingdom is supportive of strengthening partnership between Arab countries and China

Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia supports the partnership between the Arab countries and China, noting that Beijing is the largest partner of the Arab countries with $430 billion.

Prince Faisal bin Farhan said at the Arab-Chinese Business Conference in Riyadh: “The Kingdom is supportive of strengthening partnership between Arab countries and China, and the business conference is an opportunity to enhance Arab-Chinese friendship.”

He added, “The recent visit of the Chinese president to Riyadh further strengthened the relations between our two countries in all fields.”

He continued, “Our meeting today is an opportunity to work on strengthening the Arab-Chinese friendship and work on building a common future.”

The Minister of Foreign Affairs stated, “The volume of trade exchange with China reached $106 billion in 2022, and China is the largest trading partner of the Arab countries, with $430 billion.”

He concluded, “There is a mutual desire between the Arab countries and China to develop the partnership, and we welcome the results of the Arab-Chinese Cooperation Forum since its establishment.”
