Picking the Orioles vs. the Giants
The Orioles make their first trip to the West Coast this season when they start a three-game series tonight against another team in orange uniforms, the San Francisco Giants.
Fanatics Sportsbook favors San Francisco by 1.5 points. Even though Baltimore comes in with a superior record at 35-21, I love the Giants tonight because of the game.
Starting pitcher Logan Webb should give the Giants the edge tonight. Webb has been great to start the season and sports a 2.75 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, and 76 strikeouts. He was completely sloppy in the month of May when he gave up five earned runs in five starts and never surrendered more than two runs.
In contrast to Webb will be Baltimore champ Dean Cramer, who has been fairly average so far. Kremer comes in with a 4.58 ERA, 1.44 WHIP, and 48 strikeouts. Cramer was pretty mediocre in April, but bounced back in May with three innings giving up one run or fewer.
