The Egyptian club, Port Said, announced today, Monday, that its Cameroonian striker, Franck Etoga, had undergone an eye operation within the past few hours.
Al-Masry Al-Borseidi stated through his official account on the social networking site “Facebook” today, Monday, that Cameroonian Itoga underwent eye surgery in one of the largest specialized medical centers because of his retinal detachment as a result of his injury during one of his matches with his former team Asante Kotoko of Ghana before his transfer to Al-Masry.
He added that this injury caused a decrease in his ability to see in one of his eyes to 52%, as the player underwent surgery during the past few days.
He explained that the player is being followed up periodically by his attending physician to ensure that he is recovering before returning to regular training for the team.
