English newspaper: Mohamed Salah is close to moving to the Saudi League

The English newspaper “Daily Express” reported today, Wednesday, that the Egyptian international, Mohamed Salah, the star of the Liverpool football team, may leave his English club this week, that is, before the deadline for closing the summer transfer market, amid reports that ittihad Jeddah club offered a fictional deal to join him.

The newspaper stated, in a report it posted on its website, that although Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp said that the Saudi club did not make an offer for Salah and that his club would certainly reject any offers, the situation may change this week.

And the newspaper quoted a specialist in the player transfer market, Jan Ag Vuortoft, as saying on the X platform (formerly Twitter): that Salah will “probably” leave the club in the coming days, I fully know that Salah is likely to leave Liverpool this week.

“The money offered to the player and the club is unbelievable. The fact that the transfer window in Saudi Arabia ends on September 7 also makes it more complicated.”

The newspaper added that Al-Ittihad Jeddah is the club that hopes to snatch Salah from Anfield before the deadline and they are allegedly willing to offer Salah the same salary that Cristiano Ronaldo receives in Al-Nasr.

And the “Daily Express” concluded that Salah’s departure represents a heavy blow to Liverpool, as it is likely to leave the English club in need of bringing in a new right winger capable of replacing Salah, but Liverpool will have little time to find a suitable replacement just two days before the end of the transfer window. .
