Portuguese Rui Vitoria, coach of the Egyptian national team, selected 25 players to face Djibouti and Sierra Leone, as part of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
The Egyptian national team will play two matches in the World Cup qualifiers, against the national teams of Djibouti and Sierra Leone, on November 16 and 19.

The Egyptian national team’s camp will start on Monday, November 13, in preparation for facing Djibouti in Cairo, then the delegation will fly to Liberia on the morning of the 17th of the same month, to face Sierra Leone.
The Banks team is in Group A with the following teams: Burkina Faso, Guinea Bissau, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, and Djibouti.
The Pharaohs held a preparation camp in the Emirates last October, during which they played two friendly matches against Zambia and Algeria, beating Al-Ahly with a clean goal, and tied with the Desert Warriors 1-1, in an exciting match that brought together brothers.
