Deportivo Maipú beat Temperley 2-0 in the return match this Sunday, at home, in the packed Omar Higinio Sperdutti stadium and qualified for the semifinals of the Reduced First National soccer tournament, to aspire to the second promotion to the Professional League.
Forward Santiago González put Deportivo Maipú ahead, 39 minutes into the first half, and midfielder Rubens Sambueza, with a penalty kick, 37 minutes into the second half, sealed the result in favor of the Cuyo team.
In the first half, the Mendoza team pressed high, did not let Temperley leave their area and Rubens Sambueza, figure of the match, and Agustín Manzur stood out in the attacks.
