Declan Rice, the new Arsenal deal, sent a set of letters to the technical director of the Gunners, Mikel Arteta, after he officially joined the London team.
Declan Rice said in his statements today about his new coach at Arsenal, Mikel Arteta: “He was a big factor and the reason for my coming here .. I know that he will extract the best from my levels.”
He continued, “I know I have more levels to develop and I feel he is the coach who will take me to those higher levels. I am really excited to work with him.”
And he continued, “I have been watching Arsenal for the past two seasons and the path they have been on, not only last season but the season before, they finished fifth but you can see the style of play that Arteta was implementing .. Last season was a great season and they beat almost every team except Man City.”
He continued, “I came here really hungry to achieve more success and spend my best years in this great club.”
He concluded: “I just want to say that it is a great honor to be part of Arsenal FC. The history and the players who have played here speak for themselves, and now I have joined here. We have some other deals as well and we are looking forward to taking Arsenal back to their big times and back to winning trophies.”
