A decree was issued appointing the head of the Fatwa and Legislation Department, and the decree stipulated:
Article One: Counselor Salah Ateeq Najm Al-Majid is appointed as Head of the Fatwa and Legislation Department.
Article Two: The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs shall implement this decree, and it shall come into effect from the date of its issuance, and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
