Continued evacuation from Sudan.. 45 citizens and 88 people arrived in Jeddah

In continuation of the efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in evacuating its citizens and nationals of brotherly and friendly countries from the Republic of Sudan to the Kingdom, 45 Saudi citizens and 36 Pakistanis arrived yesterday morning at King Abdullah Air Base in the western sector in the city of Jeddah, where they were evacuated by plane. His Majesty the King’s ship, Al-Diriyah, also arrived in Jeddah, carrying 52 people of the following nationalities: (Sultanate of Oman, Pakistan, the United States of America, and Nepal).

During the past two days, the Royal Saudi Air Force evacuated about 185 nationals of brotherly and friendly countries of the following nationalities: (South Africa, Zambia, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Nigeria, Eritrea, the United Kingdom, Sweden, France, the Netherlands, Norway, and the United States). USA, Canada, Australia, Lebanon, Palestine, Somalia, Pakistan, Thailand, Philippines, Uganda, Chad, Tanzania, Benin, Indonesia and Turkey).

The Kingdom was keen to provide all the basic needs of nationals of brotherly and friendly countries, in preparation for facilitating their departure to their homelands, bringing the total of those evacuated from Sudan since the start of the evacuations to about 5,197 people (184 Saudi citizens, and about 5,013 people belonging to 100 nationalities).
