The General Directorate of Civil Defense explained the importance of the smoke detector in establishments and homes.

The Directorate explained, through its official account on Twitter, that the importance of the detector is “alarming the presence of a fire in the building early, which helps to quickly fight the fire.”

She pointed out that it is easy to detect the location of the smoke, and that it emits loud sounds that awaken the sleeper.
