Michael Mirno scored the first goal for Real Sociedad in the sixth minute of the match, before Mikel Oyarzabal scored the second goal in the 11th minute, and then the hosts made the match more difficult and scored the third goal through Ander Muguruza.
In the second half, the visiting team, Benfica, scored its only goal in the 49th minute through Rafa Silva.
With this result, Real Sociedad is in first place in Group D with 10 points, while Benfica is in fourth place without points.
In the third group, Napoli met Union Berlin, and ended in a 1-1 draw.
Napoli scored the first goal in the match through Matteo Politano in the 39th minute, before David Fofana scored the equalizer in the 52nd minute, ending the match in a 1-1 draw.
With this result, Napoli raises its score to 7 points in second place, while Union Berlin is in fourth place with one point.
