The director of the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), William J. Burns, visited Israel.
According to the Israeli press, Burns carried out a regional tour that visited some Middle Eastern countries such as Israel, Egypt, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates to hold talks regarding the release of Israeli prisoners in Gaza.
Burns gathered withDavid Barneathe head of the foreign intelligence service, Mossad in Israel, whom he contacted last night.
The Israeli army declared that there were 242 Israeli prisoners in the Gaza Strip, the last of the comprehensive attacks carried out by Hamas on October 7.
