Today, the “PUBG MOBILE World Invitational” tournament, the fourth elite competition within the Gamer’s Season: Land of Champions, was launched, which is scheduled to last for 6 days, with the participation of 18 teams from around the world, competing to win the prizes of the tournament, which is allocated 3 million dollars.
The tournament confrontations started with a qualifying phase that takes place over 3 days, during which the participating teams seek to reserve their seat in the finals stage, which will be played for the remaining days of the tournament.
The list of participating teams includes the champions of last year’s edition of the tournament, the Thai team Vampire Esports, the Saudi team R8 Esports, in addition to 16 teams that were invited or voted by the international gaming and e-sports community to participate in the tournament: Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Iraq, Dominican Republic, Kazakhstan, China, Mexico, Brazil, Turkey, Serbia, South Korea and Japan.
The top 6 teams will qualify for the finals stage to face the Saudi team, Twisted Minds, who won the title of the famous game championship in the Saudi Electronic Sports League, in addition to the elite international teams from China, Japan (by invitation), Indonesia, Vietnam, Brazil, Turkey, Mongolia, and the Middle East. Everyone will compete to try to win the championship trophy, $500,000, the largest share of the prize pool, and an extra seat for the region at PMGC 2023.
